LeAnn

Lead Instructor and Founder

Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Cave/Tech Diver

Year certified: 2010

LeAnn works with divers at every level, from their first breaths underwater to advanced training. She holds a master’s in marine biology and a PhD in oceanography, and approaches diving with a scientist’s eye for detail and a mentor’s patience.

Her focus is simple: build real control, real understanding, and the quiet confidence that makes diving feel natural.

When she’s not teaching in New Mexico, you’ll usually find her diving the caves of Mexico.

Gabe

IDC Staff instructor

Tech Diver

Year certified: 2006

Gabe has been diving since 2006 and teaching since 2009, with more than 3,400 dives and nearly 15 years running a dive shop. His experience is deeply practical and student-focused.

His teaching is calm, direct, and methodical. He breaks complex skills into simple steps and gives students the space to build real confidence, with no shortcuts.

Robert

Divemaster

Year certified: 2018

Robert is a patient and attentive divemaster who supports both students and instructors during training. Known for his calm presence in the water, he helps new divers feel comfortable and confident as they learn. Outside New Mexico, he often travels to Florida to dive.
